On this inaugural Ashtanga Yoga School weekend retreat we will be exploring the methods & practices of Ashtanga Yoga , looking in detail at the mechanisms of the jump back and jump through systems and also the Ashtanga Yoga balances – headstand , handstand & arm balance (Pincha Mayurasana ).

Over the weekend there will be a combination of led classes and Mysore Style Self Practice sessions plus meditation , pranayama and guided relaxations.

On the Saturday early evening after the last session we will be having an informal pot luck buffet social event at the studio.

 

Accommodation : Students have the option to travel to the studio each day . For those who want to stay over on the Saturday night we can recommend the Hebden Bridge Hostel  which is a 5 min walk away from the studio – please book your accommodation directly with the hostel. All yoga students booking the hostel will receive a 15% discount  for bookings that weekend, use the code Power2022. Alternatively you can find accommodation via Air BnB using the studio’s postcode as a reference for proximity.
