A chance to escape the stresses of everyday life and focus on deepening your practice. This week will give you the space and support you need to focus on your practice and help take the practice beyond the mat allowing for deeper self enquiry and a deeper understanding of yourself.

Each morning will start with silence and guided meditation before a guided self practice class (please don't worry if you haven't doine this before as you will be guided throughout the practice at all times and will follow the variation of the practice that works for you). In the afternoons we will focus on technique, chanting, journaling and restorative yoga. There will be plenty of time to talk, share and ask questions.

The retreat centre is set in 2.5 acres of grounds in a valley filled with olive and almond groves.

Accommodation consists of six twin bedrooms and one double bedroom  all with private ensuite bathrooms. The rooms have all been renovated to a high standard using locally sourced materials to create a luxurious yet simple and understated feel. A large outdoor courtyard provides the main communal eating space, and several outdoor terraces offer a place to relax in the sun or the shade.

Situated at the heart of the complex, the swimming pool acts like a colourful meeting point – with the blue water combining with the green olive trees and the red soil. Time to swim, rest, read, write and chat. Choose to do as much or as littlr as you like, there is plemnty of space if youneed some time alone but always lots of lovely people around to chat to if you fancy company.

Food plays a central role in both our yoga practice and life. We believe food should be varied, unprocessed and nourishing to promote energy and wellbeing. The food they serve at YogApulia is predominantly plant based with some vegetarian options.

All produce is local, seasonal and organic wherever possible.

Refreshments are also available throughout the day and include tea, coffee, water & fruit.

If you can tear yourself away from the pool there are lovely walk in the surrounding almond and olive groves, beautiful historical towns with local walks and the long mediterranean coastline of Puglia is home to some of the best beaches in Italy.
