Classes
I currently teach yoga classes online via Zoom.
Go to ClassesI found Ashtanga Yoga whilst travelling in India in 1999, little did I know then how it would transform my life. Since then the physical and mental benefits of daily practice have rewarded me, not only with strength, flexibility and focus, but, I hope, a more conscious way of interacting with other people and the world around me.
I didn’t decide to teach yoga, but it came to me, from being an assistant to my teacher, I was gradually being asked to teach more and more in classes. In 2003 I decided to dedicate myself to teaching full time. Over the years that I have been sharing this practice and the philosophy, I have seen many others also gain enormously from it. I want to continue to share these benefits with as many people as possible whether they be dedicated practitioners who want to study in the traditional Mysore method or those who feel that a little bit of yoga will help them in life. I treat everybody that walks in through the door as an individual so find ways of making this practice, although still challenging, accessible to all.
