The winter felt a fitting season for this workshop in which we will discuss all the different stages of the menstrual cycle and how we can work with these to enhance our yoga practice and life.  We will bring in the concepts of menstrual cycle awareness, journaling and sharing with lots of opportunity for discussion and questions. We will look at how you can, and why you may wish to, adapt your practice at certain times of the month and how this can actually enhance your yoga practice and take you to a deeper level.

The session will end with a restorative yoga session before tea, cake and chat.


Open to all women whether or not you have a cycle. Come with an open mind - remember this is your body and you can make the choices about what is best for you, I am there to share my experience and thoughts, not to tell you what you should do. Although I am coming from an Ashtanga yoga perspective this is open to practitioners from any yoga tradition. 

In the morning there will be a Mysore style self practice for those of you wishing to create a full day of yoga (just £7 extra if booking both)
